Belle performance de Kaven Benoit à Moncton
Lors de la dernière manche du championnat National Canadien de motocross à Moncton au Nouveau-Brunswick, Kaven Benoit s’est imposé avec une brillante victoire au combiné en MX2.
Dans la première manche, Benoit n’est pas parti premier mais il n’a fallu que quelques tours pour que le pilote KTM Duroy prenne les commandes de l’épreuve et se sauve ainsi avec la victoire. Dans la deuxième manche, Benoit s’est emparé du holeshot et il n’a jamais été menacé par la suite pour terminer la journée avec un résultat de 1-1. Teddy Maier et Jeremy Medaglia suivent dans l’ordre pour compléter le podium.
En MX1, c’est le pilote Matt Georke de l’équipe Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki qui l’emporte au combiné avec un résultat de 1-1 suivi de Bobby Kiniry et de Dusty Klatt. Le québécois Tim Tremblay sur sa Kawasaki Équipements Les Chutes réussi une autre belle performance avec une cinquième place au combiné.
